Saleema Bennett
Saleema Bennett is a highly accomplished leader in workforce development, currently serving as Director of Programs at CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas. With a Bachelor’s in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from Saint Leo University and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology, she holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Business Intelligence, and Advanced Intercultural Management.
Since joining CareerSource Tampa Bay in 2015, Saleema has held key roles, including Career Counselor, Business Development Manager, and Sector Strategist. She implemented two top-ranking H1B grants, led the “Get There Faster” program, and played a critical role in developing the region’s ACE program.
Beyond her professional achievements, Saleema founded, served and mentored for different non-profit organizations and boards. Recognized for her work, she was nominated for Tampa Bay Business Journal’s “40 under 40” list.
A dedicated wife and mother of three, Saleema balances her career with community service and looks forward to serving!
