JOB SUMMARY:
Envision Resolution is seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Resource Coordinator Intern to join our team. The Community Resource Coordinator will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with the local community, strengthening partnerships, and increasing the visibility of our programs and services. This individual will be responsible for executing community outreach initiatives that support the nonprofit’s mission and collecting, reporting, and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness, maintaining records, and collaborating with various stakeholders and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have a public health background with skills in communication, relationship-building, and project management.

Community Outreach and Relationship Building
- Represent the EnVision Resolution Foundation, Inc. at community meetings, events, and forums to raise awareness of the nonprofit’s programs and services.
- Build partnerships with local barbershops/businesses, civic groups, and other nonprofits to enhance collaboration and community impact.
- Build relationships with the community at assigned locations and assist with Community Wellness Hub participation.
- Assist with asset mapping and needs assessments.
Program Promotion and Advocacy
- Promote and raise awareness about the nonprofit’s programs and services through community events, social media, and other communication channels.
- Serve as an advocate for the nonprofit’s mission, ensuring that the voice of the community is heard and reflected in our work.
- Identify opportunities to engage the community through educational workshops, town halls, and other events.
Volunteer Coordination and Support
- Assist in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers/advocates for community outreach events and activities.
- Provide ongoing support to volunteers/advocates, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to contribute meaningfully.
Event Planning and Management
- Plan and coordinate community engagement events, such as volunteer days, trainings, informational sessions, and community forums.
- Work with internal teams to ensure the logistics of community events are well-executed and meet organizational goals.
Communication and Reporting
- Develop and distribute community newsletters, flyers, and other promotional materials to inform community members about events and programs.
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities, outreach efforts, and outcomes.
- Provide regular reports on engagement activities and outcomes to the management team.
- Provide reporting and data to the funder, Children’s Board of Hillsborough, through CATS and other platforms.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Assess the effectiveness of community engagement strategies and recommend improvements.
- Collect and analyze feedback from the community to continuously refine outreach efforts and ensure they are aligned with community needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- HS Diploma. Bachelor’s degree in communications, social work, nonprofit management, public relations, or a related field is preferred. MPH preferred. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in community engagement, outreach, or a related field. Experience in nonprofit organizations is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to plan and execute community events.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Experience with project management and organizing outreach initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
